In search of you!

'Unnaithedi!'

Sr. Prema came...

Happened to meet her at the St. Pauls' Book Centre. She too seemingly wanted to see me and especially to give an invitation for the marriage of her uncle Bosco's daughter, the one of the twin, deaf and dumb daughters! The boy is from our village only. May be to avoid embarasment and to reach out when in need.

Shared with her our home problems regarding the 'broken' marriage of Saumy mol, my brother's daughter! It was a breather from keeping everything in the small little heart!

கண்ணீர் அஞ்சலி... Fr. J. G. Jesudas

Fr. J. G. Jesudas, a great priest who loved his people and promoted their growth through educational endeavours, especially that of St. Jude's College, Thoothoor. His end came day before yesterday while taking a walk after a late dinner after visiting place to establish his yet another dream of accomodating sick people called 'Bethdaida." A man who died while working for his people till his very end.

Few weeks ago, he called me over the phone. But unfortunately i could not respond that nor could call later. It might have been for the college matter which sails in a disturbed sea of power hungry and position mongering priests and their sycophants. Though both the bishops of Kottar and Trivandrum are involved, some of the above type of priests scuttled it to their favor, but may not to the benefit of poor people and students.

May his good soul pray for the conversion of those type of priests to dedicate themselves for the cause of the people and not for their own 'glory.'

May his good soul rest in peace!

விண்ணை தாண்டி வருவாயா?

This is one of those few films i have seen alone. Hearing that to be a love story of a different kind ventured to see it yesterday. There were a handful of people only in the theatre! Yes, the story seemed to be different. But the characters were trying hard to act rather than living their roles.

First time seeing love being talked than lived. They talk their love through out the film, even in the most intimate of situations! At the end there seemed to be little confusion when Karthik unexpectedly sees Jessy in the States as to what was real and what was the film he directed basing on his own story.

The much publicised music score and songs were not that appealing, at least for the first hearing!
