ജീവികള്ക്കെല്ലാം വ്യക്തിത്വം ഉണ്ടാവണം, അതുകൊണ്ടായിരിക്കണമല്ലോ അവ ഇര തേടുന്നതും, ഇണ
ചേരുന്നതും, സുരക്ഷിതത്വം
അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതും, തങ്ങളുടേതായ ഇടം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതും, അതിന്
തടസ്സം നില്ക്കു ന്നവയെ നിഷ്ക്രിയമാക്കാനോ, ആവശ്യംവന്നാല്‍ നിഷ്കാസിതമാക്കാനോ
മടിക്കാത്തതും.
ഈ ജീവികളില്നിന്നെല്ലാം
മനുഷ്യന് വ്യത്യസ്ഥനാണ്, കാരണം ഇവയ്ക്കുപരി വേറെന്തൊക്കെയോ അവന് ആവശ്യം
ഉള്ളതുപോലെ... പ്രകൃതി നല്കുന്ന/ഒരുക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ /വിഭവങ്ങള്‍ മറ്റു
ജീവികള്ക്ക് മതിയാവുമ്പോള്‍ മനുഷ്യന്
മാത്രം മറ്റെന്തൊക്കെയോ കൂടി വേണ്ടിവരുന്നു, അത് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു. അത്തരം അന്വേഷണങ്ങള്‍ അവനെ
അധ്വാനശീലനും, സാഹസികനും, സ്തിരോല്സാഹിയുമൊക്കെയാക്കുന്നതും.
ശാരീരിക പരിണാമംതന്നെ ഇത്തരം ഒരു അന്വേഷനഫലമെന്നാണ് തോന്നുന്നത്. തുടര്ന്നി
ങ്ങോട്ടുള്ള അന്വേഷണങ്ങള്‍ ഓരോ കണ്ടുപിടുത്തങ്ങളായി മാനവരും മറ്റു ജീവികളും
അനുഭവിച്ച് വരുന്നു.
ശാരീരിക ബൌദ്ധിക ഘടകങ്ങളുടെ
സംഭാവനയാണ് ഇവയില്‍ പ്രതിഫലിക്കുന്നതെങ്കില്‍ ഇവയ്ക്കൊപ്പമോ, ശേഷമോ, ഇവയ്ക്കുപരിയോ
ആവിര്ഭലവിച്ച മറ്റൊരു സിദ്ധിയായ്, അവന്റെ ആസ്വദ്യതയുടെ, ആരാധനയുടെ അടിത്തറയായി ആത്മാവ് എന്ന പ്രതിഭാസം
പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നു... ഇത് ഈ പ്രകൃതിയുടെ, പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്റെ കേന്ദ്രവുമായി – ആത്മാവുമായി
- ബന്ധപ്പെടാന്‍ വെമ്പല്കൊയള്ളുന്നു, മനുഷ്യന് ഈ
പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്റെതന്നെ എല്ലാ അംശവുമുള്‍ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന
ഒരു മൈക്രോ കോസമോ (ചെറു പ്രപഞ്ചം), ചെറു ബിന്ധുവോ, തുള്ളിയോ, ചെറുപതിപ്പോ ആണെന്ന് തോന്നുമാറു...
മനുഷ്യാത്മാവിന്
പ്രപഞ്ചാത്മാവിനോടുള്ള ഈ അഭിനിവേഷത്തെ, അടുപ്പത്തെ ആത്യാത്മികതയായി കാണാം. പ്രപഞ്ചാത്മാവിനെ
ദൈവമായി കാണുന്നവരുണ്ട്... ആ ദൈവം മനുഷ്യന് കാണാനും കേള്ക്കാനും തൊടാനും ഭാഗത്തില്‍ അവദാരങ്ങള്‍ ആകാറുണ്ടെന്നും
മതങ്ങള്‍ അവകാശപ്പെടാറുണ്ട്... അങ്ങനെ ആതാത്മികതയെ മതാത്മകതയായി
ഇന്ന് നാം കാണുന്നു.
മതങ്ങള്ക്ക് ആചാരങ്ങള്‍, അനുഷ്ഠാനങ്ങള്‍, സംവിധാനങ്ങള്‍ അവശ്യമാവാം, പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളും.
കൂടെ ആസ്തിയും, അധികാരവും, ആതിപത്യവുമൊക്കെ.
പിന്നെ ഇവയെ നിലനിര്ത്തുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി അവ കൈകാര്യം/പരികര്മ്മം ചെയ്യുന്നവര്ക്ക് ദൈവീകത
അവകാശപ്പെട്ടും, അവയ്ക്കുതന്നെയും
ദൈവീക പരിവേഷം ചാര്ത്തുന്നതുള്പ്പെ്ടെയുള്ള എന്തെല്ലാം സംഗതികള്‍! പിന്നീട്
ഇവയെ ന്യായികരിക്കാന്‍ വെളിപാടുകളെന്നവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന രചനകള്‍, തുടര്ന്ന് അവയ്ക്ക്
നല്ക്പ്പെടുന്ന തെറ്റാവരംപോലുള്ള പ്രതിഭാസങ്ങള്‍...
ഈ നെട്ടോട്ടത്തില്‍ മറന്നുപോകുന്നവയാണ്
ആത്യാത്മികതയുടെ ലളിതസുന്ദരമായ സത്യങ്ങള്‍, മൂല്യങ്ങള്‍... ആത്യാത്മികതയ്ക്ക്
ജാതിയും മതങ്ങളുമില്ല, ഭാഷയും പ്രദേശവുമില്ല, സ്ത്രീ-പുരുഷ, ധനവാന്‍-ദരിദ്രന്‍, പണ്ഡിത-പാമര, മേലാള്‍-കീഴാള്‍ വിവേചനമില്ല...
ഇതാണ് യേശു സമരിയാക്കാരി
സ്ത്രീയുമായുള്ള സംഭാഷണത്തില്‍ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയത്: ‘...ഈ മലയിലോ ജറുസലെമിലോ നിങ്ങള്‍ പിതാവിനെ
ആരാധിക്കാത്ത സമയം വരുന്നു... യഥാര്ത്ഥ ആരാധകര്‍ ആത്മാവിലും
സത്യത്തിലും പിതാവിനെ ആരാധിക്കുന്ന സമയം വരുന്നു. അല്ല, അത്
ഇപ്പോള്ത്തന്നെയാണ്.’ (യോഹന്നാന്‍ 4:21-23). അവിടുന്ന്
വീണ്ടും പറയുന്നതു ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്: ‘എന്റെ് വചനത്തില്‍ നിലനില്ക്കുമെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ യഥാര്ഥത്തില്‍ എന്റെറ
ശിഷ്യരാണ്. നിങ്ങള്‍ സത്യം അറിയുകയും സത്യം നിങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കുകയും
ചെയ്യും.’ (യോഹന്നാന്‍ 8: 31-32)...

എഴുത്തുവഴിയിലെ എന്റെ പാഥേയം.

greetings! You all must be trying to accomodate with this new variant of Covid
which still goes on getting mutated day by day leaving the medical field
aghast... May be that the herd immunity is going to be the last resort...
Have completed
one year of no 'ministry', no liturgy etc. In the meantime, being tired of
remaining 'idle', tried a paid job for some five months in a private
institution...
In the
Presbyterium, general body of priests, held on 21st December, the Ordinary of
the diocese publicly asked me to 'come back'. Respecting the occasion, resigned
my job and came back again in the Priests' Home since 1st January with nothing
specific to do!
It appears that
the 'priests' won't be assigned with anything, if they don't celebrate liturgy
or so... As for me, the very priesthood in the Gospel, NT tradition is dubious
to say the least... Its rather a superimposition of the tradition of Saul,
turned Paul, from his staunch Jewish background. As such its highly improbable
that i join the ritualistic, liturgic ministry of 'priests' anymore.
Jesus' call was
to discipleship alone with its demands and possible costs. And this stands in
contrast to the priesthood propounded by the institutional church taking its
cue from Paul... Church has conveniently clubbed it with propheticism and
royalty thereby ensuring all possible benefits...
If at all Jesus
was anything, he was a prophet, and not all a priest with whom he was ever at
loggerheads with and they in company and conspiracy with the royalty ensured
his elimination through the then ignominious crucifixion...
He came 'not to
be served but to serve...' He being the lord and teacher gave the example of
washing the feet of his disciples and wanted us to do likewise. He called us
friends and not servants. Dominion and power, according to him, are pagan.
Money, he equated with mamon which no one could serve side by side with God...
Let me live the
life of a disciple henceforth, though most of my acquaintances and friends want
me back in the ministerial priesthood, in spite of the accepted stand that we
all are said to share the common priesthood...
There is no
provision for a priest in the Passover memorial nor in the memory of Jesus
after the Passover model...
Kindly try to
understand me and pray that i recognize and do God's will rather than that of
the insolent might...
Am planning to
withdraw slowly and gradually from mobile connectivity and social media...

I feel a bit of pain in a corner of my heart. Same time
appreciate the venting of the innermost thoughts with a poetic mindset. Your
mastery of English language demand respect. Teaching its effective usage to our
needy youth might keep you occupied in addition to benefitting many from our
community. That way you could continue serving the people. And serving the
needy is equivalent to serving the Lord. It will give a sense of fulfilment in
the world we live in. Our people cannot be liberated unless they are
economically independent. Your thoughts and ideas might motivate many. Hence,
please keep writing..

Prayers 
Father, of the many priests whom I knew from my parish, I have
always had an immense respect and liking towards you. May be because you were
the priest whom I knew as a child and at a crucial time for our family. It only
grew multitudes after reading what you wrote often in your page. Will surely
miss those thought provoking writings.
I remember reading a book which also argued your mindset on many
practices of church which was modeled by Zaul, who was highly influenced by
Jewish priesthood traditions which seems to be true to a great extent. We will
always love, respect and pray for you for everything, little and lot, you have
done for the community. We might miss you around, we might not see you at the
parish feast often, still, we will remember that you chose the road less
traveled by and advocated meaningful changes within the church. May God make
you a larger part of his will and plan. Prayers.
Really it's a heart touching message, but I was sure a perfect
Preist who is always trying to follow the ideology and footsteps of our Saviour
Jesus Christ who can't continue so long with the interest or favour of the
congregation heads. Where ever you are my heart and soul is with you.Thanks and
