Sacerdotal Golden Jubilee...

Sacerdotal Golden Jubilee

Msgr. C. Joseph

22.12.1973-2023

Hearty congratulations and

Prayerful best wishes!

Memories go back to 1973 at St. Andrews

Where you came as a deacon...

You stood out among your peers in the diocese

with your self-confidence, self-esteem and what not,

in your priestly attire, always.

Jesus' call was to discipleship and

priesthood was seemingly superimposed later...

He, now is represented by the Church

which operates more through priesthood, royal, of course...

She has conveniently let down the Kingdom He preached

for the one he rather denounced...

Mary, his mother is our mother too, as was his last will...

She is the first and best disciple of the Word became flesh

and thereby our model and mediator...

We are comfortable with mediation, rituals

than following Him really...

Though we differ in our perceptions and practice of faith,

i do consider your enduring loyalty to the Church

which conferred you with the Priesthood so impressive!

Jesus was known for his authority and

that was nothing other than His authenticity.

Though the diocese didn't recognize you enough,

the church at large honoured you with deserving responsibilities and titles...

You could still contribute much and

the diocese would hopefully facilitate for that,

though late she is...

Stay blessed while being a blessing to all.
